CornerLight, our original sunny corner daylight rental space and New York photography studio, is filled with an abundance of southwest light. This SoHo loft location has a light and airy feel that corporate event clients call refreshing. The space boasts spectacular unobstructed views of SoHo, Tribeca and Chinatown due to the 13 6-by-8-foot windows. Window shades are in place for those who prefer them.

Situated in an 1870 historic cast iron building, it features a huge freight elevator that travels from the street and opens directly into the space. The main studio comprises 1,500 square feet of the location’s 3,000. CornerLight is flexible for business innovation off-sites. Amenities include white walls for projection, hardwood floors, approximately 11-foot ceilings, and a sizeable open kitchen with ample serving counters. The furniture is unadorned with two colored diner booths and stone oval dining table; all are moveable. Available for shooting are a master bath with a 6-foot sunken tub, large fire escape, bedroom and an office.

The world’s largest independent innovation company uses this corporate event venue for its U.S. training sessions. The company and its event clients have said the location’s energetic vibe is not only inspirational, but also necessary to keep them alert. Generally, there are 6 to 60 seated participants. The rear studio can be used as a breakout room or a holding area for focus groups.  

Many celebrity guests, including Neil Young, Jake Gyllenhaal, David Bowie and Kate Moss, have visited this private New York photography studio. CornerLight has also been used for fashion shoots for In-Style and Bed, Bath & Beyond, for food and drink in Food and Wine, O, and Gourmet magazines, and as a showroom for Urban Outfitters.
