HOURS
When can we be reached? 
You may contact us by e-mail or phone Monday through Friday EST. We are generally open between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., not including national holidays. 

What are the booking hours?
Photo shoot hours are for  8 hours, generally from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Meeting hours are for 10 hours, generally from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Film/Video/TV productions are generally scheduled for a 10 hour shoot day. Thereafter jobs go into extended/overtime hours.  Please note that most venues book weekdays. Certain days, weekend, holiday, and night usage are variable per location. There is some flexibility on starting times depending on the location. Let us know the entry and departure needs of your particular booking date. 

Are there extended hours?
Early arrival and overtime restrictions vary by location. Some of our venues (CornerLight, PetiteSite and SereneSite) close by 8 p.m.; we therefore highly recommend separate preparation and breakdown days. In certain circumstances production may continue beyond this time by pre-arrangement. Some of our commercial business locations may prefer evening and weekend rentals for filming.    

How many hours are prep and wrap days for shoots/launches etc.?
Eight hours. 

Where are SoHoSoleil Locations situated?
Most venues are centrally located in Manhattan. Currently all lofts are located in SoHo, NYC. As we add new spaces or subtract locations, this information is subject to change without notice.

No. Our properties are privately owned. Appointments must be made in advance to see any location. Please read “How can we see a location?”

We highly recommend several local caterers who work specifically with our clients. We will send you a list of those catering partners who work with SoHoSoleil clients. One of the friendliest, and most inventive on-site chefs is now available for all types of catering.

Is there car parking on the street?
Generally parking is not available on weekdays. There are very few meters in SoHo. There is paid parking in nearby lots. There is free street parking near the Brooklyn locations.

RATES
How are rates determined?
Rates vary by property and type of production rental including still photography, motion pictures, and corporate events. Factors include number of hours, days, number in crew, clients, set building, property usage, etc.  

CONFIRMATION
How are bookings confirmed?
Bookings are confirmed when a CONFIRMATION FORM is completely filled out, signed, and returned.

FIRST HOLD
What is a first hold/option second hold/option?
This means you are interested in the date but not prepared to book.

What does confirming the confirmation/invoice/contract mean?
Any form of written confirmation (i.e. e-mail) is a legally binding financial agreement. NOT returning a contract does not void the financial commitment if you have a confirmed booking. 

PAYMENT
What are the payment options?
1) Credit Card: MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express

4) Overseas payments by special arrangement + transfer fee
5) U.S. New York Bank company checks advance payment due no less than two weeks prior to booking 

When is payment due?
Payments are due upon confirmation. 

INSURANCE
Is the client responsible for providing an insurance certificate?
Yes. The client shall provide a general liability insurance policy that names SoHoSoleil Locations, LLC and others listed as insured parties to be held harmless. The policy must fully insure against property damage, personal injury and general liability during the period each property is utilized. The insurance must be from a company licensed to do business in New York State. The client must request a document from SoHoSoleil entitled “INSURANCE” to send to their insurer after confirming the booking. The policy shall not be for less than two million aggregate and must be received two business days prior to the booking date. Your company will already have an insurance policy in effect, which will cover you and SoHoSoleil Locations, LLC during your booking with us. The insurers charge no additional fee to prepare this document. In the event that you are an uninsured photographer, private event insurers are listed under SOURCES. 

RULES & REGULATIONS
Must the client follow the rules and regulations?
Yes. The client, their guests, vendors, staff, etc. must follow the rules and regulations of all confirmation forms, invoices, contracts, this Web site, any paperwork delivered to the client, and any signs posted at the rental locations or announcements made by the SoHoSoleil staff or the property owners.

Yes. Periodically we add or discharge locations. 

LIST MY PROPERTY
How can I list my property with SoHoSoleil?
If you are interested in listing your property send jpgs of your space sized at 4” x 6” and 72 dpi with a thorough description of the location along with your contact information to info (at) sohosoleil (dot) com. Please be sure that it is legal to rent your space out in your building and that you are interested in being represented exclusively.
